Spotlight: K.Flay

The GRAMMY Museum is thrilled to welcome two-time GRAMMY-nominated singer/songwriter/producer K.Flay for an intimate conversation about her double-EP project, Inside Voices and Outside Voices, the conceptual underpinnings of the new music, and her creative process and career, followed by a performance. The conversation will be moderated by Billboard senior editor, Lyndsey Havens. 

The Chicago-born K.Flay’s near-undefinable combination of dark-electro soundscapes, art-pop sensibilities, spitfire lyrics, industrial rock backbone and versatile vocals has led the songwriter/artist/multi-instrumentalist to two GRAMMY nominations (Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical for ‘Every Where Is Some Where’, and Best Rock Song for “Blood in the Cut”), tours alongside Grouplove, Imagine Dragons & Thirty Seconds To Mars, and festival appearances at Austin City Limits, Bonnaroo, Coachella, Outside Lands, Firefly, and Riot Fest. In addition to ‘Inside Voices’ and ‘Outside Voices’, she also recently dropped the three-track cover collection ‘Don’t Judge A Song By Its Cover’ that included off-the-wall reimaginings of songs by Limp Bizkit, The Offspring & Green Day, and appeared on songs by X Ambassadors, grandson, Arkells, and Jax Anderson. She has written original music for ‘Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey’ and ‘Tomb Raider’, and penned songs for Two Feet, Walk the Moon, Bishop Briggs, Fitz and the Tantrums, Misterwives, and more.

The holder acknowledges that the event may be captured and recorded by audio, audiovisual, and/or photographic means, and hereby grants permission to utilize the holder’s image and/or voice in any and all media now known or hereafter devised to further the interests and mission of the Recording Academy. It is unlawful to reproduce this ticket in any form. The Holder assumes all risks incidental to the event, whether occurring prior to, during or after the event, and releases the facility, management, all participants and each of their affiliates, employees, officers, directors, members, partners, owners, managers, sponsors, contractors and agents from any loss, damage or expense resulting from any such risk. COVID-19 POLICY

For the health, safety and well-being of our patrons, staff and artists, GRAMMY Museum’s current COVID-19 policy for Public Program guests is as follows:

• Vaccinated guests must present upon arrival a photo ID along with proof that they meet the CDC definition of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, either in the form of a physical vaccination card or a photo of the card.
• Guests under the age 12 or those who are exempt from COVID-19 vaccinations due to medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs will be required to take a COVID-19 PCR test within 48 hours before entering the building and present their negative results at the door with a photo ID.
• Masks are currently required for both vaccinated and unvaccinated guests.
