HAIM, the GRAMMY-nominated band hailing from the San Fernando Valley is made up of sisters Este, Danielle and Alana Haim. The girls grew up playing classic rock songs in a family band, called “Rockinhaim,” which played for charity events and street fairs. After years of playing with their parents and working as touring musicians, the sisters decided to create their own original music. In 2011 Haim released a video for their song “Forever” which immediately garnered the band critical attention. The band signed with Columbia Records in 2012 and later that year released their debut album Days Are Gone. The album received critical acclaim and praise globally. Renowned for their energetic live performances, the band went on to tour the globe, playing such iconic music festivals as Glastonbury, T in the Park, Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and more. Please join us as we welcome 2015 Best New Artist nominee, HAIM, to the Clive Davis Theater for a discussion with Vice President of MusiCares and the GRAMMY Foundation, Scott Goldman. Following the interview, the band will perform.
