Trevor Morris has had an incredible year, earning both his second Emmy and Gemini Awards. Morris’ cinematic and thrilling score will soon be heard in the stylish and visually spectacular 3D action adventure Immortals, in theatres everywhere November 11, 2011. Morris has earned multiple Emmy and Gemini Nominations and Awards for his work on Showtime’s The Tudors, The Borgias, and Starz Entertainment’s The Pillars of the Earth. With various other film and television credits, the Canadian-born composer is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon. Join us for a unique evening with Trevor Morris, as he and Vice President of the GRAMMY Foundation and MusiCares Scott Goldman discuss Trevor’s career and the process of writing scores for films and television. Along with the discussion, taking place the same day as the Immortals score release, Morris will take questions from the audience, instruct a live composing demonstration, and audience members will be among the first to see clips from Immortals
