The GRAMMY Museum is thrilled to welcome Amtrac for an intimate conversation about his long-awaited third album Extra Time, moderated by special guest Orlando Higginbottom. Following the conversation, Amtrac will perform.
Long established for his chameleonic proficiency, Amtrac spent the last decade proving himself with hard-hitting house tracks, infectious indie dance hooks and everything in between. He’s played sold-out arena shows and underground clubs around the world, landed an opening spot on Bob Moses’s US tour, as well as enviable slots at III Points, Electric Forest, Osheaga and more.
He’s released two full-length albums and a slew of varied singles and EPs, not to mention marquee collaborations with Samuel T. Herring, Diplo and Leon Bridges, remixed everyone from Ellie Goulding to Zhu, Two Door Cinema Club and UNKLE. He runs his own label, Openers, named in a nod to the way he’s managed to straddle both the bright lights of the mainstage world and the taste-making underground without ever losing sense of who he really is—and still, he’s never felt quite as focused as this. His third LP ‘Extra Time’ is out February 3rd, 2023.
