In 2011, the Los Angeles-based, indie outfit Run River North (formerly known as Monsters Calling Home) released an “accidental” demo, a last-minute promotional piece to sell on tour. With only that unplanned demo, the six-piece band has seen extraordinary buzz including a booking on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Run River North writes brilliant harmonies paired with layered instrumentations and puts on an awe-inspiring live show. Recently, Run River North sold out LA’s famed Troubadour and immediately charmed the A&R teams from both indie and major labels. Signed to Nettwerk Records, the band sets forth to record their debut studio album with renowned record producer Phil Ek (Band Of Horses, Fleet Foxes, Built To Spill, The Shins, Sea Wolf, The Walkmen, Father John Misty). Join us in the Clive Davis Theater as we continue our celebration of Korean American Music Month with a special performance from these local, rising stars.
