Actor/comedian Skyler Stone brings his wildly popular Los Angeles staple show Comedy Rocks to the GRAMMY Museum. It’s a celebration of comedy and music that’s sold out for seven years in a row. The show sparked from the idea that “every comedian wants to be a rock star,” and most of what rock stars listen to on their tour buses are comedy albums. It’s the perfect marriage. Comedy Rocks always features music videos, crazy surprise guests, music-themed standup and a live comic interview with a music icon. This particular installment will feature standup performances from comedians Bill Burr, Jim Jefferies and Stone, and closes with a raw and unfiltered live interview with Media Mogul Gene Simmons: Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame recipient, and cofounder of KISS, America’s #1 Gold Record Award Winning Group Of All Time (RIAA). and music journalist Steve Baltin. A portion of the proceeds from this event will support Sophie Simmons’ charity Sophie’s Place, a multi-disciplinary, child-centered service for children who are victims of abuse.
